Fans of Nick Shoulders might have stumbled upon his quirky country music through Gems In the Rough (as I did) but they soon realized the songwriting of hits like “Play it in G for Jesus” was something special, not ephemeral. Now the New Orleans troubadour is bouncing around the country on his Spring Breaking Point tour and we are stoked he’s added an LA stop!

Nick will be joined by Two Runner, the powerhouse duo (now with stand-up bass!) playing a mix of old time foot-stompers and their own originals from their debut album “Modern Cowboy” which came out last year. If you haven’t yet, check out the music video for the title track over on WesternAF. It was one of my favorite songs of 2023 and is a fine example of great storytelling, wonderful harmony and notch musicianship; all hallmarks that Two Runner has become well-known for!
